Thedoorforcedopenalarmwillnotbetriggeredaslongastheuseropensthedoorwithintheaccesstime.Deselectif

thedoorshallunlockautomaticallywhentheuseractivatestheREXdevice.

Ifthedoorcontrollerhasonlybeenconguredwithonedoorbeforeitisupgradedtormware1.15orlaterfromrmware

>HardwareCongurationandclickResetandstartanewhardwareconguration.Thensetuptherulesforthedoors

connectedtothedoorcontrollerandaddthemtogroups,seeManageDoors.

Note

Mostlock,doormonitor,andreaderoptionscanbechangedwithoutresettingandstartinganewhardwareconguration.

GotoSetup>HardwareReconguration.

UseSupervisedInputs

Supervisedinputsreportonthestatusoftheconnectionbetweenthedoorcontrollerandthereaders,REXdevices,anddoor

monitors.Iftheconnectionisinterrupted,aneventisactivated.

Tousesupervisedinputs:

1.Installendoflineresistorsonalltheusedinputs.Seetheconnectiondiagramonpage64.

2.GotoSetup>HardwareRecongurationandselectEnablesupervisedinputs.Youcanalsoenablesupervisedinputs

duringthehardwareconguration.

SupervisedInputCompatibility

Thefollowingconnectorssupportsupervisedinputs:

•ReaderI/Oconnector–tamperingsignal.Seepage60.

•Doorconnector.Seepage6

Readersandswitchesthatcanbeusedwithsupervisedinputsinclude:

•HIDreaderswithinternal1kΩpull-upto5V.

•Readersandswitcheswithinternal1kΩpull-upto5V.

•Readersandswitcheswithoutinternalpull-up.

VerifytheHardwareConnections

Whenthehardwareinstallationandcongurationiscomplete,andanytimeduringthedoorcontroller’slifetime,youcanverifythe

functionoftheconnecteddoormonitors,locksandreaders.

Toverifythecongurationandaccessthevericationcontrols,gotoSetup>HardwareConnectionVerication.

VericationControls

•Doorstate–Verifythecurrentstateofthedoormonitor,dooralarmsandlocks.ClickGetcurrentstate.

•Lock–Manuallytriggerthelock.Bothprimarylocksandsecondarylocksifthereareanywillbeaffected.ClickLockor

Unlock.

•Lock–Manuallytriggerthelocktograntaccess.Onlyprimarylockswillbeaffected.ClickAccess.
