Item Description
Excitation Time Time for collision-induced dissociation (CID) by ion
excitation. Range 0 to 1000 msec. The default is 20 msec.
Modulation Range Mass range over which the rf storage field is modulated
during resonant CID. The range is 0 to 10 steps, default is
2 steps. Value of 0 gives a fixed rf storage field, i.e., no
modulation.
Modulation Rate The number of microseconds that will be spent at each
step. The range 29 usec to 5600 usec, default is 3000
usec/step.

Frequencies
Enter an odd integer in range of 1 to 121. A frequency
number of one generates a single supplementary
frequency applied to the end caps. An integer of 3,
generates three frequencies: the resonance frequency and
frequencies 500 Hz above and below that frequency.
CID Frequency Offset To offset the dissociation frequency. The CID frequency
can be adjusted between 3000 Hz.
